It’s fall and Halloween weekend? Nothing can be better than a sunset hike, haunted campfire, and s’mores surrounded by the beautiful Ozarks! Our afternoon will start with an incredible hike through Withrow Spring State Park to reach the breathtaking view of War Eagle Creek. The hike features a cave, springs, a bluff, and spectacular views. The hike will be approximately 2.5 miles with 300 ft elevation gain. You will not be disappointed by this changing landscape and beautiful features. On the way back, we will stop at a campground, where Todd Wilkinson from the James River Basin Partnership will share some stories from Vance Randolph’s Ozark Magic and Folklore book, where magic and history come together for a perfect campfire experience. We will make s’mores and enjoy this Halloween fall night together.
