Level up in your nature photography skills in this fall foliage photo workshop. Get ready for an incredible day of adventure in the Ozarks, all while learning the basic skills necessary for stunning landscape photography. Start the day at Haha Tonka State Park, observing castle ruins and capturing this unique structure with fall colors in the background. Then we will take a hike down to a natural spring for some outstanding contrasting photos of the spring and surrounding fall foliage. While at the spring, take landscape and nature photos and learn about camera settings, lighting, and composition basics. Have lunch while looking at each other’s photos and having a Q and A with your photo guide about the photos you captured.
After lunch, take a short drive to Lake of the Ozarks to visit Ozarks Distillery and Brewery for a local beer, cocktail, or snack. Share your best photos of the day with other group members and solidify everything you’ve learned about photography throughout the day. Then, we’ll drive back to Springfield after an adventurous day exploring & photographing the Ozarks.
