NOTE: All our trips (unless otherwise noted in details) leave and return to 5 Pound Apparel at Farmer's Park (2144 East Republic Road E104, Springfield, MO 65804). Some trips, have a second pickup location in Branson at the Starbucks located at the Target off Hwy 65 (200 Ozark Scenic Dr, Branson, MO 65616). The pickup location will be specified on the trip's details.  

Thursday before your trip, we will send out an email with all the details you need to know before your adventure. 

HIKE AT RUTH AND PAUL HENNING CONSERVATION AREA, STAND UP PADDLE BOARD & WINERY | September 15th

Fall is the perfect time to get out and explore in the Ozarks and the best time for paddling.   After a great hike, we will head over to the lake for some refreshing stand up paddle boarding (SUP) sessions. We will end our day with some gorgeous views of the Ozarks while enjoying some great wine.

DEVIL'S DEN & SADDLEBOCK BREWERY | SEPTEMBER 22nd, 2018

Breathtaking 3 mile hike on easy terrain at Devil's Den State Park.  The trail climbs up to a ridge with invigorating views of the surrounding landscape while being completely immersed nature.  On our way back to Springfield, we will stop at Saddlebock Brewery, an awesome brewery in a barn, for some locally made beers.

Welcome fall months by exploring the Ozarks in a whole different way.  Join us for a day of riding  and wine tasting. You will not be disappointed by the hour long ride, Ozark views, and maybe even some foliage. Finish the day by relaxing with live music, amazing scenery and delicious wine at Bear Creek Winery.

Take your novice photography skills to the next level with a wildlife-focused photography workshop & hike led by local photographer Josh Beecher. Start the day with some photography instruction and then put your skills to the test while you hike and visit the largest animal refuge in Arkansas.

Because one weekend of horseback riding is never enough, we opened a second date for this event!  Join us for a day of riding  and wine tasting. You will not be disappointed by the hour long ride, Ozark views, and maybe even some foliage. Finish the day by relaxing with live music, amazing scenery and delicious wine at Bear Creek Winery. 

ROARING RIVER & APPLE PICKING | oCTOBER 13TH, 2018

Fall foliage should be really shining for this adventure in one of the most beautiful places in the Ozarks.  We will start our day with a stunning hike with breathtaking views of the fall colors.  After the hike we will head to a local orchard to pick-your-own apples that you can bring home with you. 

 

meditation at devil's den & black apple crossing cidery | october 20th, 2018

Join us for a relaxing meditation session with a million dollar view.  Let the chill fall breeze and the stunning fall colors rejuvenate your senses.  After the hike and meditation session we will head to Black Apple Crossing to sample some different varieties of ciders.  The perfect way to end a perfect day. 

sam's throne hike & s'mores | October 27th, 2018

Sam’s Throne was made for sunset views. Our hike will start by admiring the amazing fall colors and end with arguably the best sunset view in the Ozarks.  On the hike back we will stop at one of the natural caves along the trail for some s’mores over an open campfire!

GIRLS' day out: SUNRISE HIKE & YOGA AT ROUND TOP MOUNTAIN | nOVEMBER 3RD, 2018

We will start our day bright and early to get to the trailhead around sunrise.  A simple hike will lead us to the perfectly isolated Round Top Mountain for a yoga session you will not forget, led by our expert yoga instructor.  Before returning home we will stop by a local cafe for some small town charm and amazing homemade eats. More information coming soon...
