EVENT DETAILS
First, we'll head to the Buffalo Outdoor Center to enjoy a two hour zipline* tour where you'll glide through the treetops of the Buffalo National River forest.
After our Zipline tour, our adventure has really just begun!
Hawksbill Crag also known as Whitaker's Point, is an Arkansas must see. It's considered an easy to moderate 2.7 mile out and back. Located in the Ozark National Forest, we'll hike through heavily forested areas, see various rock formations, and most importantly, the crag. Once we reach the crag, you'll see why it has the nickname "Hawksbill." The crag offers beautiful valley views and is extra special during the fall due to the fall foliage. You'll have time to take in the scenery, eat lunch trail side, and get a few pictures.
*Must weigh between 70 and 250 lbs. for ziplining
ITINERARY
6:45 AM: Arrive to Farmer’s Park
7:00 AM: Depart for the Buffalo Outdoor Center
8:30 AM: Arrive at the Buffalo Outdoor Center
9:00 AM: Zipline tour begins
11:00 AM: Zipline tour concludes and we head to Hawksbill Crag
11:30 AM: Begin hike at Hawksbill Crag
12:30 PM: Sack lunch at the Crag!
2:00 PM: Hike concludes and we head back to Farmer’s Park
5:30 PM: Arrive at Farmer's Park
