Hawksbill Crag also known as Whitaker's Point, is an Arkansas must see. It's considered an easy to moderate 2.7 mile out and back. Located in the Ozark National Forest, we'll hike through heavily forested areas, see various rock formations, and most importantly, the crag. After we've worked up a sweat, we'll head to a nearby Steel Creek Swim Hole to take a dip and eat lunch. Relax and take in the views of the large bluff that lines the Buffalo River.

Located in the Ozark National Forest, we'll hike through heavily forested areas, see various rock formations, and most importantly, the crag. Once we reach the crag, you'll see why it has the nickname "Hawksbill." The crag offers beautiful valley views and is extra special during the fall due to the fall foliage. You'll have time to take in the scenery and get a few pictures while at the crag.
