EVENT DETAILS
Experience fall by train and scenic overlook! We'll start the day with a 70-mile round-trip train excursion through the ruggedly beautiful Boston Mountain range of the Ozarks, traveling over three valley trestles and through the 1,700-foot-long Winslow Tunnel for some of the most breathtaking scenery in The Natural State.
After the train ride, we'll head to Devil's Den State Park for the CCC Scenic Overlook Trail, a beginner-level trail that connects the CCC Scenic Overlook to the iconic Yellow Rock Overlook. This scenic route offers an easy way to experience the beauty of the park while taking in stunning fall foliage and sweeping views of the Lee Creek Valley.
This experience is perfect for enjoying the beauty of the Ozarks at a relaxed pace, with a beginner-friendly hike and plenty of opportunities to take in the scenery.

ITINERARY
9:00 AM: Arrive to the Motto no later than this time
9:15 AM: Depart for Railway Station
10:30: Arrive at Railway Station
11:00 AM: Depart on train ride
2:15 PM: Arrive back at Railway Station
2:30 PM: Depart for Devil's Den State Park
3:15 PM: Arrive at Yellow Rock Overlook
4:45 PM: Depart for the Motto
5:45 PM: Arrive back at the Motto
